The goal was to exploit the views from everywhere within the house and have this amazing deck and infinity pool while expanding the home to 5,000 s.f. The design is streamline with large expanses of glass and a steel structure to allow for large open space. A very large telescoping glass door and flush deck expand the living space. Floating above doors an upper deck also provides for dramatic views and creates shade as does the brow above master. 23 new caissons with average of 60 feet embedment support pool and new 2nd story structure on a severely steep downward slope. The client purchased existing home for $850,000 and had a matching budget for new construction.
